Running backwards of the world, TôComprando is a startup that provides a quite unusual approach: Instead of going to a website to sell stuff you don’t want, users can offer money for something they want to buy – and just wait for sellers to offer their products.

I created the whole Brand concept, KeyVisual and Styleguide for development. The project required a Landing Page and a Platform, for which I and created the wireframes, prototypes and screen layouts using the brand and its visual components.
They asked me to create a journey of empowering the user as the one who rules because they’re buying. Of course, as every buyer is also a seller, they should see this as an opportunity to make extra money by selling stuff they don’t want anymore, almost effortlessly. Visuals should be interesting, inviting, but also aggressive and clear.
I recommended using yellow as main color, after the sense of happiness. To create a nice contrast, I suggested a dark purple. Modern fonts, images edited with icon design / illustration and a very seamless user experience made the project unique and interesting.
As it is a website platform, the pages were created with very low options and a clear path to the goals. Create profile, offer money, talk directly with sellers. Just that. On a secondary moment, users would start also selling stuff, and for that, pay credits to the platform just to have access to the buyer. So the design suggestions I made were after the simplicity of the process and screens, giving as fewer options as possible.
The whole project was intriguing. The associates are very easygoing and great listeners, giving me the space I needed to design, suggest and even add some improvements on the original idea.
